WE ARE LIVE

The Canadian Clubfoot Support Society is thrilled to announce the official launch of our website today at the Paediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America’s (POSNA) annual meeting in Vancouver, BC.  It is exciting to have the opportunity to share parent voices in a medical community.

After over a year of collaborating with parents, surgeons, and paramedical professionals, the website is the society’s first step in our mission to provide accurate information, guidance, and advocacy for clubfoot families.  It is a resource for parents by parents and we couldn’t be more proud.

In attendance today at POSNA, Dr. Pirani celebrated our public launch. “I am delighted to support the Canadian Clubfoot Support Society and I am proud to be a resource for a society that is for parents by parents. It is a purposeful mission to empower and inform parents to make the right decisions for their children. A child with clubfoot is dependent on the team to correct the feet. I believe the head of the treatment team should be the parent as they are closest to the child and do 98% of the work. I strongly encourage the other members of the team, medical and allied colleagues, to support the society in order to ensure the success of its mission.”
